How does a private London tour with you differ from a coach tour or rideshare?
Every tour is entirely private — just you, your party and your London driver-guide. No strangers, no fixed schedules, no commentary delivered over a speaker. Rod and James are both licensed London taxi drivers and qualified tour guides, which means insider routing through streets no coach can access, live conversation tailored to your interests, and the freedom to stop, linger or change direction at any moment.
Will you collect us directly from our London hotel?
Yes. We collect you from your hotel lobby, private residence or short-stay apartment and return you the same way. We regularly look after guests staying at Claridge's, The Connaught, The Savoy, The Dorchester, The Ritz, The Lanesborough and many of London's other leading hotels.
How many people can join a private tour?
Up to six guests per vehicle, with comfortable seating and luggage capacity. The iconic London black cab is ideal for couples, small families and executive groups. For larger parties or transfers we also operate a chauffeur-driven Mercedes Viano.
Can you design a fully bespoke itinerary?
Of course — bespoke itineraries are our speciality. Tell us your dates, the hotel you're staying at, your interests and any landmarks or experiences on your wish list, and we'll quietly assemble a private day (or several) designed entirely around you. We frequently arrange royal residences, country houses, country lunches, literary London, wartime history and family-friendly itineraries.
Do you offer airport meet & greet for arrivals into London?
Yes. Seamless private transfers to and from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City — with personal meet-and-greet at the arrivals gate. Many guests choose to incorporate a short guided tour en route to their hotel.
